  • Y = EMV should be enabled on this terminal. Table versions and flags will follow.
  • N = EMV should be disabled on this terminal. Table versions and flags will not follow. This may be used to at least temporarily disable EMV on a terminal exhibiting compliance issues, e.g., excessive fallback transactions.
